I should have expected that one curveball (won't spoil it) since it's a Whedon project but I just did not see it coming! But the "worth the admission" topper? Enver Gjokaj as Topher! Brilliant! He is such a great actor I love to watch him whenever they let him get some screen time. His portrayal of the bimbo college girl "Kiki" when they switched bodies... The nightclub dance scene? He is incredible. And Summer Glau? Still kicking ass... in the creepiest of ways. NR has always translated to Non Robyn in my book. Much like the 0%RH in a subject line. So are we gonna see the classic Whedon/Fox scenario play out now where his shit gets canceled and THEN he wheels out the best stuff? On a personal note I enjoyed Jillian Armenante's appearance in the mad-scientist's-assistant (or "Igor") role. I feel a personal responsibility for her career (on the I-saved-your-life-so-it-belongs-to-me basis) since I dropped a crescent wrench from the top of a big-ass ladder once and it landed right next to her foot. She was very gracious about it, or at least more gracious than she probably would have been if I'd successfully brained her...
