Thanks, though. What most impresses me, in some ways, is the extent to which he seems to have sorted out all the competing strands of bullshit that go with being a performer, a musician, a recording and touring artist - there's a sort of equanimity evident that's admirable. I suppose there are still folks out there (though not here) that imagine he must be some raving loony drughead. Pretty far wrong. Oh - and was the fellow in the dark cape with a Welsh accent one of us? Cool versions of many RH classics. Excellent sound. Robyn played a turquoise version of the odd guitar he's holding in his latest publicity photos. Peter alternated between two Rickenbackers - a 6 string and a 12 string. David Rawlings, Gillian Welch, and Grant Lee Phillips guest on Television and the encore. On Queen Elvis, Robyn played David's acooustic guitar and David played one of Peter's Rickenbackers. Peter didn't play at all on the song. Gillian and Grant both sang only. The long, cool spoken word/shaker intro to Queen Elvis is Bill Rieflin. A note - Robyn plays a last minute booked show at Largo tonight 10/7 at 10pm. Someone needs to tape it. I'll be at Pearl Jam. Another Note - There is a mistake on the setlist of the text file. I used the textfile from my NIN Wiltern show as a template and it still has a NIN song title on disc 2. Disc 2 track 4 is Madonna of the Wasps not The Becoming. Setlist is correct here, but textfile still has the mistake. Sonics>Battery Box>Edirol R-09HR>ProTools (for level adjustment, compression, eq, and song separation)>flac. Taped and mastered by JB. Please don't sell or convert to lossy format. Disc 1 (48:24) 1.
