Loss of a cat friend can be totally devastating. I am hoping not to go through that again any time soon, but it probably isn't too far down the road. My older cat Oscar (Flippy) turned 18 this year. Still in good health generally, but he is definitely slowing down a bit. Eleanore, I hope that is the worst thing you have to deal with for a long time (aside from the quote below), Marc "I know how much your loss must grieve you, but here's a thought I'd like to leave you: Although you're sad remember that... now god is petting your pussycat." from the movie "The Lonely Guy" ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Jun 2009 00:30:16 +1200 From: James Dignan Subject: Re: RIP Sincere condolences over Olive. I like just about everything David Mamet does, with the huge exception of The Unit. I've only watched two or three episodes of that, but I hated them. Either I didn't get them, or I don't understand how someone like David Mamet could be involved with that series. Anyway, I also have a thing for Rebecca Pidgeon (aka Mrs. David Mamet), so there was ample motivation for me to watch The Winslow Boy. And I enjoyed it a lot. It's not a masterpiece, but it was highly entertaining. Even though I think I would fail miserably in Edwardian society, it still holds a fascination for me. And Jeremy Northam is always fun to watch. The commentary track had so much quiet time that I gave up on it after 15 minutes or so. Too bad. 8/10 - -- Sebastian Hagedorn Am alten Stellwerk 22, 50733 Kvln, Germany http://www.uni-koeln.de/~a0620/ "Being just contaminates the void" - Robyn Hitchcock ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jun 2009 17:33:48 -0500 From: Miles Goosens Subject: Re: October 2009 - new RH dates - West Coast On Mon, Jun 22, 2009 at 8:54 AM, wrote: > October 2009 > 6 Spaceland Los Angeles, CA Rex, he got your memo.
