She is having her right eye removed - there is a tumor behind the eye that, in 4 days, caused her to go blind. He was real cute, and having only one eye made him even more endearing. Good luck Vomitor! One of our kitties had a tail accident just before Christmas and needed to have all but about two inches lopped off - he was a bit beat-up by the after-effects of the surgery but it hasn't really affected him at all: he runs around exactly as he did before. - -- ...Jeff Norman The Architectural Dance Society http://spanghew.wordpress.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 May 2009 18:36:24 -0500 (CDT) From: Laura Dean Golias Subject: Re: more cats Ruby went nuts after she had surgery to remove a growth on her foot. She came home with a bandage on her back foot and one of those collars so she couldn't rip out her stitches. She had the bandage off in less than a day, and managed to bend her collar. Of course, she ripped the stitches out too. She ran around the house like a wild thing for a couple weeks. Then she was pissed off, at both of us for another couple weeks, so she ignored us. Sometimes it sucks to have a smart cat. You can see the wheels turning in her little cat brain. Scary. I hope Olive/Vomitor/cheese cat/baby cat is okay. Poor thing. We call Zo many things, but mostly Captain Pukey McPukePuke. Because he pukes daily. He does it when he gets anxious and he also bolts down his food. We call this "hot cereal" - as in, "Oh look - Oranj has made hot cereal for Lumen!" She was acting completely normal otherwise.
