After the show he did a meet and greet, and I asked him if he had been in the studio with Robyn when he recorded his parts for the "Ole! Tarantula" album. He said that he had recorded his parts in his own home studio, but that Robyn was a good friend, and his wife used to call him "...". Sorry, but there's the brain-fart--for the life of me, I can't remember what it was that she had called Robyn. Unfortunately Ian's wife, Kim, was killed in a car accident a few years ago, just a couple of months before "Ole! Tarantula" was released. Looking it up on the net, it seems that she had been married to Keith Moon, and they had a daughter together, Mandy. If anyone goes to one of the upcoming shows and hangs around to talk with Ian afterward, would you mind asking about the nickname. He's a nice guy and will most likely not make you feel like an asshole for asking.
