Jones" Subject: Re: shuffling over the ipod Fegs - Okay, after a couple of google searches I have sussed something out that you iPod owners MIGHT be interested in. While there is indeed a 'Shuffle Songs' option in the Settings of your ipod, you can change shuffle settings without navigating up to that Settings level. Start your ipod normally, play a song, and then hit the center button three times. On my old ipod the center button would toggle between a) the scrub bar, b) the volume, c) the artwork, and d) the itunes rating. AHHHHH, but now you have an extra screen for Shuffle settings. So, long story short, SHUFFLE ALBUMS does indeed work on your entire ipod, not just a playlist. You just need to enable it from the right location. I hope this helped someone. Robyn Hitchcock & The Venus Three, Goodnight Oslo ~ apart from the lyrics, which i find rather horrible, i'm fairly happy with this! even his voice sounds better than it has in years. remains to be seen whether i'll feel the ineluctable compulsion to listen to it every day for months down upon end, as i used to feel with every new release -- to be honest, i have my doubts. but: so far, so good.
