I'm not getting it at all, and I had the album on solid repeat for days. I'm also very sensitive to weird Christian things, because I was brought up weirdly Christian. It seems to work well with short pieces, and I like messing with the stopwords. Some teachers are using it for spelling/vocabulary assignments - something about the different colors and the layout seems to help kids remember how to spell words and make associations. Interesting. I wonder if the creator is a synesthete. In other news, I saw Let the Right One In. Bundle up if you're going to see it - that is a movie that will make you cold just watching it. For the uninitiated, this is more or less a Grateful Dead album written & sung by Hunter. Briefly existed as a 1988 CD, but with overdubbed vocals generally regarded as inferior to the original, and out of print anyway. Some very nice work from Jerry Garcia, then in peak form. Since even I'm not insane enough to need two of these things around, I'm prepared to donate one of them to any interested party in the solstice spirit. (US) postage included. Guaranteed at least listenable. ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V16 #803 ********************************
