I was there, have the DVD, and highly recommend it. I do know at least one fellow listmember who was also there and disagrees strongly with me, so YMMV. A lot might depend on how you feel about the album on which the show was based, the Love Hall Tryst's Songs of Misfortune ( http://www.amazon.com/Songs-Misfortune-Love-Hall-Tryst/dp/B0009VBTJQ). See if you can pick up one of the copies with the bonus CD of Songs of Misfortune demos. But really, as it looks like it's selling near $7, I don't think you can go wrong. Is that too general a question? I've not regretted a moment since I bought my 20" Apple Cinema Display a year and a half ago. I did some comparison shopping with the other LCD monitors out there and the Apple display has a far better image display - hands down. It's something you appreciate every time you look at the screen. I'll still never forget the thrill of getting my first 17" monitor back in the early '90s - it was totally jaw-dropping compared to the 14" (or smaller) monitors I'd been used to. Buy as much monitor as you can afford. FWIW, I've had great luck with Viewsonic products and I love their bright palettes. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for the three-parrot logo, dunno. later, Miles On Thu, Oct 23, 2008 at 3:35 PM, Sebastian Hagedorn wrote: > -- HwyCDRrev@aol.com is rumored to have mumbled on 23. I think I've only ever heard him do the proper "You got to be kidding" live, using his lyric-changing skillz only on the dwarf who inevitably becomes a door. Or maybe a Door, I can't say for certain. It would be interesting if the phrase had been switched out for only the trendiest buzzwords of their respective days, so that we'd have a sort of rolling tine-capsule of inane conversation ephemera none of which, of course, Shakespeare actually ever said..."Where's the beef", "Fo shizzle my nizzle", "The terrororists have already won", anything about Joe the Plumber.... - -Rex ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V16 #759 ********************************
