Some of them... hell, most of them are pretty good. Some rare, even. There are scratches on some of them, sure, but I think all of them play. I'm wondering... what to do, what to do? Not especially wanting to catalog them, I'm considering offering them on Craigslist with a semi-specific description as a "grab-bag", "you gotta take 'em all"-type thing... maybe starting at $2 a disc, and, failing that, $538 for the lot. Anyone have any better ideas? I've set aside a few CD's to sell individually to specific people (you know who you are); if anyone else actually wants to ask me for stuff, feel free to do so offlist. Anyone have any better ideas? If you can't get anything else for 'em, donate 'em to a Goodwill or the like and count their resale value as a charitable deduction on your tax forms. We donate a lot of stuff during the year and it always ends up helping our tax situation. Get a receipt - they've cracked down on that. (Usually it'll just list that you donated "five boxes of CDs" or the like - you'll still assign a value to them. And of course if you use Tax Cut or similar programs to do your taxes, there are companion software that'll calculate the value of your donations - which is nice, in that you can argue those values as reasonable since they're from an external source rather than your own wishful thinking...)
