But...the track won't be available until $403 are raised for a charitable project to help students save their work on flash drives. The third of three Egyptians shows I caught on the tour supporting Perspex Island: Washington and Philadelphia over one weekend and then New York City the following Friday. I don't remember why I didn't go up to the show in Boston the next day, but so it goes.... The first half of this show -- though Ultra Unbelieveable Love -- is electric and then the rest of the main set was acoustic with Andy on piano and Morris harmonizing and such. Some chattering from the audience early but it settles down mostly. The vocals are a bit down in the mix but the instruments are clear. A fairly solid recording, I'd say. I have not been able to locate the master cassette for this recording so this is sourced from a first generation listening dub I made for myself. Also, for quite a while the shoulder hurt too much to type. Or sleep more than a couple hours. But it's coming right along - although the doc who rebuilt me says these replacements take a couple of years to recover from, so there's still plenty of rehab to look forward to. Thanks, though, to everybody for support of various kinds. The interesting thing I've noticed while spending many, many hours laying around watching the tee-vee is how common gags (stunts, bits, etc.) involving humans getting hit by cars are. Suddenly very aware of these issues. On Thu, Jun 19, 2008 at 5:39 PM, Jill Brand wrote: > Wow! You should have let us know about this earlier. There is nothing > like a little e-sympathy. (it's uh, pretty logical, Dong-A is a major pen and pencil company, and the other bit looks like it means "carrot". Which if you consider the colour of [non-European] office pencils, makes sense.)
