It sucks that my birthday is now the anniversary of that shit. It also sucks that my my youngest daughter has never known a year when we weren't in that war. Yep, that's right: Shock and Awe can go to Kindergarten this fall. We totally forgot Robyn's birthday this year, didn't we? - -Rex ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Mar 2008 10:19:45 -0700 From: "Stacked Crooked" Subject: Re: Fuck's Sake! downloaded, listened once, deleted straight away. but, what the hell? i'll give it another shote. also, thanks jeff for the tip (on your blog) that there's a new clinic disc. *and*, i notice that the new pornos have released a live from soho disc (that makes three live albums in little over a year for them). can't...keep...up. . you want it. you need it. you download it. it's free. i cant keeps up! er, i can't keep ups! er, thanks stewart! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Mar 2008 10:19:45 -0700 From: "Stacked Crooked" Subject: Re: Fuck's Sake! downloaded, listened once, deleted straight away. but, what the hell? i'll give it another shote. also, thanks jeff for the tip (on your blog) that there's a new clinic disc. *and*, i notice that the new pornos have released a live from soho disc (that makes three live albums in little over a year for them). can't...keep...up. . you want it. you need it. you download it. it's free. i cant keeps up! er, i can't keep ups! er, thanks stewart! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Mar 2008 17:43:37 -0400 (EDT) From: Jill Brand Subject: just 'cause I thought some of you might be interested If you go over to youtube, check this out www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6vAkdGw8T4 Since some of you are musicians, I thought you might be interested in this story called The Musician Who Heard Too Much, which aired on 20/20 last week. It's about my friend Adrian, who is a horn player. FYI, German insurance ended up paying for the whole thing, including his and his wife's trip and stay in Baltimore. It's been an amazing journey, and I've been along for the ride for most of it. Jill ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Mar 2008 06:56:56 -0700 From: "Bri N" Subject: In Bruges... cd? Since I've switch to feg-digest mode I've been very bad about participating in feg talk (not that I did a whole lot before). Last night I went to go see the movie In Bruges with my good friend Jeff. Before we went into the theater, he gave me three things. One of them was a box of Fast Piece Of Furniture cds. This is Jeff most recent band project (Jeff co-owns Dischord Records and was the drummer in Minor Threat in the early 80's). Anyway Dischord hasn't been doing alot to promote the album which came out less than a year ago and Jeff decided to unload a bunch on me -which is great because I think it's a pretty great album. So now I've got a bunch of FPoF cds that I'm going to send out to review places and such, but I wanted to reserve 5 of them to send out to some fegs. If anyone is interested in a FREE Fast Piece Of Furniture cd (you get to hear me play the glockenspiel!) let me know. I'll mail them out to the 1st 5 requests I get. Please email me directly as I'm on digest. Sad to hear Clarke has passed. A City And the Stars is one of my favorites books. - -Nuppy PS: We both enjoyed In Bruges! ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V16 #543 ********************************
