Not exactly, but the song was "As The Years Go Passing By" from the Albert King album Born Under A Bad Sign that the signature Layla riff was lifted from. It might have been an interview with Clapton way back when or the Allman's drummer Butch Trucks acknowledging where Duane got it from. I don't have that King album, but I've always wanted to pick it up and it's been remastered now as well.
