So this is an interesting construction. "Go the Gunners!" Is this distinct from, say, "Go Gunners!"? I mean, sure, they are, collectively, the Gunners, but you root for each of them as Gunners, no? Um... it's my understanding that these things are integrated at the input device these days... as in, the keyboard has a USB connection that essentially is a USB MIDI controller. Should I avoid this and use an external MIDI controller? I suppose this seems more versatile and only a little more expensive. I believe this is the route I'll go. MAudio makes rather cheap ones. I suppose that once you are getting just an input device, it's all about the action/playability of the thing and not much else. > As for software, I work in Windows XP so I don't know if I can help you > there. Right. It's all Free Software for me. I have an MAudio controller that works exactly this way. I should have mentioned that. I also have additional MIDI ports on the PC for separate external devices (a foot controller, drum pads). You could always add MIDI ports later if you find you have a need beyond the one keyboard. +brian ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 27 Jan 2008 00:07:07 -0500 From: gaseous clay Subject: NEW on DIME: Robyn Hitchcock Bristol (UK), Fleece and Firkin, January 24th 2008. http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=180791&hit=1 - ----- Forwarded message from DIME ----- A new torrent has been uploaded to DIME. He didn't play Clean Steve in Exeter, instead he played That's Fantastic Mother Church, Visions of Johanna and All Shook Up (Elvis cover). Recorded both the Bristol and Exeter gigs, noticed another version of the Bristol show is already on DIME, will put mine up asap, however going to the Nottingham show tonight and London/Brighton later this week so may very well be next weekend before I can upload one or more shows. Robyn mentioned the Jools show he will record on Monday will be aired the following Friday (February 1st), quite interesting as this would be the 200th episode special of the Jools Holland show - the same show which will feature Radiohead and others. Not sure how the recording process for Jools works then as I thought the Radiohead piece had already been recorded.... He is likely to play 'It Sounds Great When You're Dead', with Isobel Campbell and Terry Edwards.
