It's pretty good if you don't think too much about it. It's quite derivative of earlier SciFi movies, but I don't mind that. There are some gorgeous images and Cillian Murphy is as great as always. There are very few movies I'll rent and not watch all the way through. Something about investing the time and whatnot... But I was on a Claire Danes kick a few months ago and rented "The Mod Squad". Holy shit what a train wreck that movie is. About halfway through I realized A) I don't care about any of these characters, as a matter of fact I dislike all of them, B) I have no idea who's who or what anybody's motivation is, and C) It's LOUD FOR NO REASON (actually maybe that's t keep the audience awake!). Depends on your definition of "ever seen." If you mean "seen all the way through," a little item called _King Kung Fu_ was every bit as bad as advertised, but it utterly lacked any redeeming virtues that some bad movies have, such as breathtakingly inappropriate ambition, actual talent sadly wasted, etc. Instead, it was exactly the sort of movie you'd expect when a Wichita, KS advertiser decides he wants to make a movie starring non-actors about an ape who's learned kung fu. Worse, though, was the first 10-15 minutes of _Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back_. Sorry, but I can hang out near a junior high school any time. Alternatively, could I just delete the "iTunes Music" folder and put a shortcut file there instead that points to the new location, or would that break something else? Here is the help page we followed: By default, songs and other files you import into iTunes are placed here: My Documents/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music To change the default location of imported files: 1. In iTunes, choose Edit > Preferences. 2. Click Advanced and then click General. 3. Click Change and select a new location for your files. From now on, new songs and other items you import will be stored in the new location. Songs you've already imported stay in their current location. To restore the iTunes Music folder as the default storage location, click Reset (in the Advanced pane of iTunes preferences). To move already-imported files to a new location (for example, a different folder on your hard disk, or a different computer), follow the instructions above and then quit iTunes. Select everything in the iTunes Music folder and drag the files to the new location (don't drag the entire iTunes Music folder, only its contents). I think that means you have two options: in iTunes, delete and re-add the tracks from their new locations. Or: assuming you already had iTunes organize your files into folders (by artist then album or something like that), you can select all the files in iTunes that would be in the same folders (i.e., all the songs on the same album) and collectively re-link them to the new files. I'm not sure the best way to do it - but if you choose the option that allows you to see the files' folders (can't be specific, as I'm on the Dark Side i.e. Windows), it'll probably tell you it can't find the files and ask if you'd like to locate them manually. Then you can browse to the new location and re-link them. I suspect there's a simpler way...or not. For example, I wonder if "consolidate library..." (assuming all your old files are still in their old folders as well - i.e., you copied rather than moved them) might work - ? First off, this is on Windows, so I have to excuse myself right away. In general, I believe you might need to manually re-add the tracks to iTunes after they've been moved. I guess that means deleting the tracks in the iTunes app, then selecting "Add To Library..." and choosing your new location. I just tried to replicate this on my Mac and could not. iTunes played the tracks automagically even after they were moved. So there was "Eraser" (ugh), "True Lies", "X-Men", "X-Men 2" (I think), "Toy Story", "X-Files", "X-Files 2" (if there was one), "The Matrix", "The Matrix 2 (Reloaded?)"
