Jones, who directed the cult comedy troupe's three films, Life of Brian, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and The Meaning of Life, was in a private London hospital after being diagnosed, the Daily Mirror said. His agent Jodi Shield told the newspaper: "He is having a routine exploratory operation in the next few days. "His surgeon is fairly confident - they think they've got it early enough. "He's in great spirits. We're having to make him stop working." The paper said Jones, 64, was told of his diagnosis just days before last Wednesday's London premiere of Monty Python musical Spamalot, when he appeared alongside fellow Pythons Eric Idle, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam. Jones often took female roles in Monty Python's films and sketches - perhaps his most famous line was in Life of Brian when, playing the hero's mother, he said: "He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy." ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Oct 2006 15:38:51 +0100 From: "Matthijs van Geldere" Subject: DIME: Robyn Hitchcock & The Minus 5 - Tokyo (Electric) - Oct 8th 2006 > Robyn Hitchcock & The Minus 5 - Electric > Tokyo - FAB Club > October 8th 2006 > > > http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=117829 > > > Recorded by Matthijs van Geldere > > > Source Information: > - Sound Professionals SP-CMC-2 cardioid mics > - SP-SPSB-6 Battery Box > - Sony Hi-MD MZ-NH900 in PCM (uncompressed) stereo mode > - Sony Sonic Stage -> digital transfer to PC via USB cable -> WAV > - Adobe Audition 2.0 > - CD Wave > > > CD1 > > 01 - Over The Sea > 02 - In A Lonely Coffin > 03 - Out There On The Maroon > 04 - Lyrical Stance > 05 - My Life As A Creep > 06 - Where Will You Go > 07 - Dear My Inspiration > 08 - You Don't Mean It (The Possibilities) > 09 - With A Gun > 10 - My Retrieval Of You > 11 - Twilight Distillery > 12 - A Rifle Called Goodbye > 13 - The Little Black Egg (Michael Stone) > 14 - Eat At Home (Paul McCartney) > 15 - Mary Lou (Steve Miller Band) > 16 - Dear Employer > 17 - Lies Of The Living Dead > 18 - Aw Shit Man > 19 - Strychnine (The Sonics) > 20 - I Often Dream Of Trains > 21 - Vibrating > 22 - Birdshead > 23 - Television > > > CD2 > > 01 - If You Were A Priest > 02 - Acid Bird > 03 - Ole Tarantula > 04 - Adventure Rocket Ship > 05 - Underground Sun > 06 - NY Doll > 07 - Beautiful Queen > 08 - Sally Was A Legend > 09 - Somewhere Apart > 10 - Creeped Out > 11 - Madonna Of The Wasps > 12 - Driving Aloud > 13 - Queen Of Eyes (The Soft Boys) > 14 - Give It To The Soft Boys (The Soft Boys) > 15 - How Do You Sleep?
