The Stilton was very nice, I love mo(u)ldy cheeses, but the Applewood just tasted like any other smoked cheddar. Also, does anyone know how to play that song? ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Aug 2006 19:18:31 -0700 From: "Stacked Crooked" Subject: "We'll be back." . ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Aug 2006 06:56:32 -0500 From: Dolph Chaney Subject: Re: Cheese Alarm At 04:06 PM 8/13/2006, Christopher Hintz wrote: >So, after years and years of listening to the song, I tried Stilton >and Applewood smoked. >The Stilton was very nice, I love mo(u)ldy cheeses, but the Applewood >just tasted like any other smoked cheddar. > >Also, does anyone know how to play that song? Huh, I thought I was mishearing that all this time. Applewood Smoke was the name of a band that played on the same Maryland country circuit as my dad's band in the late '70's. Their logo made it pretty clear that they weren't named after a cheese so much as the actual smoke that comes from, like, burning the wood of an apple tree. - -SER ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V15 #190 ********************************
