I also noticed when re-watching season two that a lot of the earlier episodes that I thought were less funny originally made more sense and were funnier when you knew what happened later on in the season (Buster's burgeoning toy seal collection, for example). I thought the two eps on Monday were both decent (though not spectacular), but hope that after the season ends, a lot of things that weren't necessarily as funny the first time around become funnier with the knowledge of what's to come. You might have also noticed that it wasn't "Frank solo" or "Frank plays house music, calls it Poi Dog and pisses everyone off," but rather Frank and assorted members of the collective when it was at its creative peak...Dag Juhlin, Susan Voelz, Dave Max Crawford, etc. Apparently there's enough momentum going that they are rehearsing and "making some of the most direct and exciting music the band has ever made." Given that person who made that statement was one of band members, I think there's a fair shot at it being right. There are a couple shows over Thanksgiving weekend, and rumor has it a new album in the new year. Thought you 90's popsters might be up for the good news. And now back to your regularly scheduled Robyn-based programming.
