Yes indeed. Brian Jones put the band together and was always under the impression that he was the leader and "face" of the band. As long as they stuck to being a covers band this was probably true. Unfortunately when it came to songwriting he was completely clueless, and the Jagger - Richard axis took the band over in - ooh - late 63 or early 64. Of course the press had always focused on Jagger as the lead singer and probably didn't register that there had been a power struggle at all. I'm not too sure of the source of this info, but I believe it anyway. Possibly Stanley somebody or other's book. - - Ageing Godders PS Jim, did you say "Good songs" out there? They stay in my ears, even if I already have earbuds in my ears to begin with. (Excellent way to listen to shows that are Way Too Loud, by the way.) The one problem I had with the Etymotics is that if you don't leave lots of play in the wires as they go from you to your device, turning your head can tug the wires loose in the mics fairly easily. The Ety folks were great about repairing them, though, and it's an easy problem to avoid, once you know about it. >Date: Thu, 22 Sep 2005 13:15:08 -0400 >From: "Stewart C.
