Short of that, my new (8 slot) 2x2 G5 should arrive on Thursday. I've been kidding my wife, telling her that she can have the G5 when I get a MacTel desktop in 2007. I'd love to have it dual boot, so I can play the Command & Conquer games that never got ported. - - Steve ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 13 Jun 2005 22:07:24 -0500 From: Steve Schiavo Subject: Re: unreap On Jun 12, 2005, at 11:26 PM, michael wells wrote: > Since Midge Ure is involved (somehow) in this whole thing, has > there been > any word of an Ultravox appearance? Hey! An all-music digest, with the exception of a personal message and one computer-related troll. I haven't been comfortable with the tone of recent digests, but I think I'm going to follow along for awhile again. You folks were my best source for new music tips. Speaking of which, I'm still working my way through the Mars Volta's "Francis The Mute" -- on vinyl. I just can't get past the first side, though! That's an in-joke for those of you who have the vinyl version. - -- Mac Tel ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2005 15:22:55 +0100 From: M R Godwin Subject: Re: fegmaniax-digest V14 #148 Hi gang Long time no post. I've been through a rough patch, involving a stroke on 21 November 2004, then a further stroke during surgery to unblock a carotid artery on 6 April, but now I'm back to show you that I can really shake it down! I'm sure that we won't see Syd at Hyde Park, worse luck. It would be better than having Roger along, the old sourpuss. Still, nothing surprises me nowadays since I saw the Cream last month. I was disappointed that Felix Pappalardi and George Harrison didn't put in guest appearances, but I suppose that being dead is a plausible excuse. Must nip off now to take a few more tablets. - - Mike Godwin Quoting fegmaniax-digest : > > fegmaniax-digest Monday, June 13 2005 Volume 14 : Number 148 ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V14 #149 ********************************
