I bet a lot of you thought I unsubbed and am living downstairs in an outhouse somewhere near Biloxi! Neither of those things happened. I'm still on the digest and occasionally am literate enough to read it. I have never held Lou with the esteem that others do, so when he sort of sold out it almost made him seem more relevant. I think the high road would be to avoid making money off of ads, unless the artist _really_ believed in the product- and then, maybe giving the money to a charity or something would be the honorable thing to do. Nevertheless, I think somebody could talk me into making some dough off of my music work from time to time. Rick Wakeman still wearing a cape. He's either senile or thinks he's the Dark Knight. What, couldn't they get Gary Glitter (hmmm, is he still in jail?) So, I read Eddie's link. Disturbing shit. I do have a geneva-convention-possibly-friendly idea: why don't we just fly the "enemy combattants" all over the world to attend timeshare presentations. I don't think there is much verbage about aggressive condo sales- and I bet that the most true believer among them would crack under the pressure of multiple sales guys in polyester leisure suits offering them properties at unbelievable values. Just a thot or 2. Sorry I missed the RH show in SF. I think I was in Colorado and I missed the show there too. Nick called me, but I lost my phone. I miss you kids all. Well, except the ones I don't know yet, but I would miss you if I did know you. I asked, "Wow, did she get into much better shape?" and was answered with this gem that I now repeat daily: Photoshop is the best diet ever! Good day. I received this repugnant "Nigerian Christian" spam, and noted all the OTHER Fegs on the same CC: list. I guess someone is mining the list for spam targets. Either that, or it's another Eddie prank.
