Uh, hang on, by this do you mean the 2003 movie Intermission, the one with Colin Farrell in it? If so, don't castigate us geebee'rs; the movie's Irish, which we are not. You know like Dublin being in the Republic of Ireland; different other country? Yes, Chef Sauce is real. I suspect it's the Irish equivalent of HP or Daddies. Think A1 steak sauce, but youll be able to get HP where you are. [But I] discovered there that when you made an utterance that was remotely contrary to what the White House was saying, then they attacked you. For a South African the deja vu was frightening. They behaved exactly the same way that used to happen here [during apartheid]: vilifying those who are putting forward a slightly different view." -- Desmond Tutu __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I mean, it had its moments (Colm Meaney as the mystical violent cop desperate to be on TV) but it was pretty patchy. I couldn't really like any of the characters, nor feel any particular attachment to them. The dialogue was contrived and indistinct (c'mon, people, get some sensible accents there). The violence was too random for something that Blockbuster (wrongly, I hope) rate as a romcom. ISTR that's how it was marketed from the cinema trailer we saw. Sorry, Eddie. It just didn't work for us. Stewart ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V14 #50 *******************************
