The first few shows of the first season box are greatest hits of the previous shorter show before the SCTV 90 minute NBC show, cobbled together to give them time to write new 90 minute shows. Watch them in order as Rex mentioned. They get less patchy once the new shows start. I'll have to check out Dave Thomas's book. Singer Andy Falkous and drummer Jack Egglestone will continue work on what was to become the fourth mclusky album next year. They will not employ usage of a combined double-necked bass and guitar. An as yet untitled interim release planned for May collecting together the bands singles and b-sides will now serve instead to underscore the immaculate oeuvre that is mcluskys recorded work. As for the mighty force that was a mclusky live appearance we can only lament. That is until we scrape together enough below par footage for a DVD. Not quite on the same level, but when I wrote the song "Fort Ashby" (As Heard on Tinfoil Thoths!) I never expected anyone to ever hear of the tiny little town I named it after (where my mom was born and my grandmother still lives). About six months later it became marginally notorious as the hometown of noted Iraqui Prisoner Abuse Poster Girl Lindy England. Last month my mom pointed out the road that led to Lindy's parents' house. It was next to a building that looked like a road house, and indeed the only sign identifying it was one of those white deals with snap-on plastic black letters, which in this case read "ROAD HOUSE". - -Rex ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 18 Jan 2005 01:41:10 +0200 From: Carrie Galbraith Subject: re: from the makers of "Bad Idea Jeans" > On 18/gen/05, at 1:23, Jon Lewis wrote: > >> The Feederz! >> >> I was the right age and attitude at the time to find that cover/title >> completely hilarious.
