We finally tracked them down to the house behind and one over from us, where they had created a huge hive in the back wall of the detached garage. We called Mr. Bee to come out and get them and he said it was one of the largest domestic hives he had ever seen, over 50,000 bees. The rip off came when Mr. Bee charged us $1200 to remove them all. It turns out he just takes the entire hive down to a farm in Gilroy (Garlic capitol of the world, yo) and then turns around and sells the bees to farmers. Dude is making double-bank on the project! If you ditch one word because it's been demonized, then you are being cowed by pressure from your enemies. "Liberal" is a perfectly decent word, and it's absurd to let the likes of Rush Limbaugh trash it. Liberals can be conservative in some ways, and are not necessarily progressive on EVERY issue. Additionally, I nominate Ian Anderson as head of the Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Brian Eno gets to be a Minister-Without-Portfolio. His only job will require him to drop in on other Cabinet sessions and, well, somehow improve them. Let's see.... If Roger Dean gets to redesign the Great Seal, we'll need to re-form Hipgnosis and set them to drafting a new currency. (And will there be naked men? Oh yes, there will be lots of naked men.) Oh! And let's have Jon Anderson pen a new national anthem. They say the current one is weird and hard to sing? Ha! And just think of all the international damage we'll be able to repair. We can tap Tangerine Dream as ambassadors to Germany, Rush can get Canada back on our side, and France will surely welcome Gong with open arms. (Imagine, a whole nation of Gallic women whispering spooky things about their pussies...!) So -- this does leave us with one burning question.
