Still, Glastonbury the town isn't cancelled, thankfully, and we've got accommodation booked, so it's a bit of spliff-smoking up the Tor and some Christmas (well, Yule I suppose) shopping in the new age giftshops in town. Glastonbury is a mindblowing place and well worth a visit, but it's very frustrating the gig's been cancelled - so much so I even emailed David G! Agreed! I'm starting to see a pattern among some of my very favorite artists: the willingness to put out live records which are essential releases which debut new material (Neko, Neil, Cale)... even Storefront Hitchcock satisfies the requirement on some levels. Oh, and for James and anyone else keeping keeping track, another feg-induced song has entered the world... this one called "Doubtful Sound". Well, my friend's grandfather from the north of England used to say "squidul" to describe the little furry animal. Never heard him past-tense the thing. I've seen several mentions of her on the year-end lists I've seen so far. Guess I need to check her out. My current love is "When U Find Someone," off Ken Stringfellow's new solo album. The best Beach Boys pastiche I've heard in awhile! I have a mp3 of it at home...I'd send to somebody if they're curious. Seems like every Stringfellow solo album is twice as ambitious as the previous one. That is all. - -- Dolph ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 30 Nov 2004 17:32:20 -0500 From: "Stewart C.
