Can't be too culty if my mom liked it. Maybe if Jill liked it, I'd reconsider!" I never saw it, so you can scratch it right off your list. I did, however, have a thing for Nanny and the Professor, for no particular reason. I wouldn't recommend it to others. Someone mentioned Rocky and Bullwinkle, which made me think of another cartoon that didn't have a national market. It was made by the same people and it was called Crusader Rabbit (his sidekick was Rags the Tiger). Is anyone here old enough to have seen it? It was great. Oh, and Dark Shadows wasn't a British soap opera. It was completely American. I anxiously waited for it to come on at 4 pm everyday when I had mono in the fall of 1969. I had a thing for Barnabus, but Quentin left me cold. Jill ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 06 Jun 2004 13:08:12 -0400 From: "Maximilian Lang" Subject: reap Robert Quine. The only thing I found to confirm was a very brief note on a pop-up from what seemed to be almost an unoffically quasi-official website, and there all it said was that he died and they would post more info as they learned more. I suspect it will be a few days before anything better can be found. http://home.earthlink.net/~stayclean/sadnews.html "It is with great sadness that we inform fans that Robert Quine has passed away. Well, I honestly wouldn't have expected 9/11-level saturation coverage of a story with no "ongoing developments" beyond funeral plans and the inevitable parade of carefully sculpted soundbites from other politicians. Meanwhile, some unfortunate soul is busily re-dyeing Reagan's hair for the first time in years, so he can look all purty for his ceremonial viewing.
