If a series is going to star a > sourpuss, it needs to be a *charismatic* sourpuss. Depends how you define "charismatic." What I like is that they're daring to make the main character somewhat unlikeable - she's just mean sometimes, and I like that. I'll also say that the plot was wonderful, in that it veered off in several directions that implied any number of potential common TV plots (PCTPs) but never quite settled on any of them. Perhaps not as laugh-out-loud funny as the first episode - but quirkier and weirder. It's doomed, of course. - ------------------------------- ...Jeff J e f f r e y N o r m a n The Architectural Dance Society http://spanghew.blogspot.com/ :: "In two thousand years, they'll still be looking for Elvis - :: this is nothing new," said the priest. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Mar 2004 08:53:42 -0800 (PST) From: Jeff Dwarf Subject: There's just something appropriate about The Passion losing the top box office slot to a zombie flick.... http://www.salon.com/ent/wire/2004/03/22/dead/index.html ===== "Life is just a series of dogs." -- George Carlin __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
