"Tijuana Strip Club" is basically the famous Neil Diamond tribute band "Superdiamond" with a different bass player. I bought their CD and chatted with the lead singer a bit after the show. He said this was their first gig opening for someone other than themselves. He's a big RH fan and called the GAMH to request the opening slot. He also lamented that Robyn wouldn't take a photo with him because RH isn't too happy with his appearance. Huh? We determined that Mark Gloster would've liked them since the lead singer had some Stan Ridgeway characteristics. I thought he sounded a lot like Leonard Cohen.
