That I'm not attracted to Julia's looks is a personal statement, sure (although it's one that seems to find a lot of agreement on this list). That she is a poor actor is a comment that I believe to be true, based on what I have seen of her acting. As such it is a personal statement of my views, but again, they are views that I have heard repeatedly from others as well. I suspect that, although a large proportion of people may find something to admire in Ms Roberts, there may be an equally large body of opinion that feels the opposite. Yeah, those Lord of the Rings movies (or it Gollum a Harry Potter character?) did so poorly with the masses. On a distant shore, miles from land, stands an ebony Gene Hopstetter, Jr. on ebony sand, a dream at 3/30/03 7:11 PM -0600 in a mist of gray: >Is it possible? Can a band be good but have a bad name? Examples, please. The Young Fresh Fellows. I was in a band once called "Orgiastic Bubble Plastic", which is a good name, but before than it was "The Valuable Feces" (the guitarist was reading Freud) and I liked us pretty well even then. If you're a Squeeze fan, you'll love it, if you're on the fence about his lyric writing, you'll love it. I think Eb would give it a 7 or 8, but I could be wrong....! I've been playing this over and over--it's very autobiographical (most of his work is) and the music was written by Francis Dunnery. The music isn't 100% original--you can tell that he's heard a little band called Les Beatles--but it complements the lyrics beautifully. The harmonies are gorgeous--I think the woman's name is Dorie Jackson and she's got a great voice. If you want something new, I recommend this one. End of advertizement. I have to go watch 6 feet under now and see if Brenda's big news is that she's had Nate's baby....!!
