And of course, difficult for the players as well. New Zealand's biggest Rugby (Union) competition has five sides from NZ, four from South Africa, and 3 from Australia. Works fine. And S. Africa's about ten hours behind NZ, a pretty big time difference. >I'm sure there's a thread with nothing but really evocative place- >names...like Dildo, Newfoundland! Halabezack? Or even Trebahwarta? > Coverack is on the Lizard, we walked there. All the walking we did around coast path was excellent. Mousehole, pronounced mowzull, is so named because of the incredibly small entrance to the harbour. It is I believe the home of Stargazy Pie. There is a beautiful children's book called The Mousehole Cat that tells the story of when the village was in danger of starvation due to the massive storms (in the book caused by the storm cat) an old fisherman sailed out and his cat calmed the storm. I don't know flag terminology but in heraldic terms the cornish flag is sable a cross argent. We did find a big jellyfish but not quite dustbin lid sized, we also found the decomposing corpse of a young dolphin. Some times, under certain circumstances, supression is the best policy. I'm glad to see Tyson lost. I could go on about this at length... - -f. ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V11 #186 ********************************
