He's a favorite with fellow musicians -- his impressive producer and composer credits scored him four GRAMMYTM nominations this year. One listen to his complex and elegant Pop stylings on "Walking Through Walls," and you'll understand why ardent fan Beck proclaimed, "Jon is a master of Pop. There is nothing he can't do." ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Feb 2001 01:44:17 -0600 From: steve Subject: Re: Headphones: The Final Conflict GSS: >Didn't Fry's move into the defuct Incredible Universe stores? Correct, Fry's bought the Incredible Universe stores in Garland (or is it Mesquite, home of id software) and Arlington. If the Arlington store has a theme, it's junk shop. But they did finally put in some new lighting, so it's no longer a *dark* junk shop. Of course they do stock lots of stuff that Incredible Universe never did, like build your own supplies. Plus plenty of geek food (and rubbers!) as you make that last turn to the check-out isle. - - Steve ___________ Hey, hey, hey. Don't be mean.
