Crouching Tiger 2. Quills 3. Billy Elliot 4. Gladiator 5. Erin Brockivich 6. re release of "The legend of drunken master" and "hard days night" I missed alot of great films this year too, bcs of law school. Booo! Runners up include both the Zemeckus films: "what lies beneath" and "castaway" I knwo I saw a bunch of films in the spring, but the only two that sticks in my mind is Gladiator and Drunken Master. eleanore who is anxiously awaiting the "rings" next year!!!! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Dec 2000 13:47:26 -0500 (EST) From: Bayard Subject: Re: Baby Pool: "We Have A Winner!" It's funny - I also chose this date and timespan, but only wrote to you via private email, and netcom bounced my message. However, I still owe you a bunch of CDRs, so never mind! :^) I've never even met anyone born on Christmas day. It's cool, but I guess you'll have to give her her birthday presents on the 24th... =b ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Dec 2000 14:18:01 -0500 (EST) From: Bayard Subject: Re: Am I 12 or 14? > So I am now the kid locked in overnight in the candy store! Lots of folk born on or near 12/25 have half-birthdays in June. Prevents the "here's your birthday and Xmas gift" situation. - - Steve ___________ Hey, hey, hey. Don't be mean. Hmmm... Its been ages since I looked at RH's chart--what I remember as being most prominent was a great see-sawing opposition tween Moon, Nep and one other planet(Saturn?) in Libra, and Mars, Venus and Merc in Aries. So, aside from the Devil's Radio, what evidence do we have for a Cap rising? Boney face, dour but funny manner, musk on his hoof, sounds possible but not conclusive. Ill go for it thou. As a Cap with her Mars right where RH's Sun is--that must be why I like his music--has nothing to do with the lyrics or the drawings or the ... music. Its obviously the planets with a Cap rising;-).That and that my dad has Venus and Mars in Aries. Sure, thats the ticket. I so like clearing up the mysteries of the universe so neatly. Now, on to -really- important mysteries of the universe. Like Napster. Im putting together a hitlist Ive labelled Chix Fix. Basically its females with attitude kicking out the rock n roll jams. Ive got Pretenders(lets not go there again;-o) and Garbage and Divynals and Patty Smith and Sam Phillips and olden days Linda Ronstadht. Im trying not to go too folky. Any suggestions? Also--I cant find Smith's Victory anywhere. Suggestions? Also--for another playlist, I cant find the Feelies cover of Dancing Barefoot. Also cant find--was it Voices of the Beehive? Also, aside from obvious suspects like REM, are there any neato covers of RH's stuff out there? Last of all, ... oh forget it. I think Ive overdosed on music. Happy Millenium(How do you dance with a computer? Ive suddenly grown inordinently fond of this thing.)
