I do have to qualify that statement somewhat, however - it's true that he took about half an hour to hit his stride, but when he did... wow... I can't say I'm a huge fan of all that delay over everything - I'd prefer a fairly flat accoustic sound, but that's just personal preference. Highlight for me was The Green Man (this track is downloadable from http://www.royharper.com ) - such a beautiful song, lyrically dense, but addressing his own death - " moment by each moment I see me slipping peacefully away / moment by each moment to some future yesterday"... wonderful. Shame your experience wasn't as positive, Stewart - I'd certainly recommend seeing him again, as if you catch him on a good night he'll blow your mind. Also, anyone checked out his son, Nick? Accoustic guitar virtuosity personified... It is the best they have, as of yet, come up with. 2000 Professional also installs with Power Management enabled by default. A less extreme approach would be to disable Power Management in the Power applet in the Windows ME Control Panel. If that doesn't solve it then APM needs to be disabled in the system BIOS. If you don't know your way around the BIOS email me off list with the model of the PC and we'll figure it out. Who knows! and 53 is just 27x2-1 (or for those post-algebra 27*2-1), and of course Janis and Jimi and Kurdt and Morrison were all 27, so the next big age for rock stars to all die at will be 105. ===== "[I]t's important for the maintenance of consensus that some people keep on being scared of what might happen and probably won't; otherwise, they would not be such easy prey for what can happen and actually has.
