Insidently, did any body choose this one for their top 10 hitches of the 90's? And when are we gonna find out the results of that Mr. Tews?) ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 26 Mar 2000 23:23:03 EST From: MARKEEFE@aol.com Subject: Re: oh no! Anyway, what I'd meant is that Randi was, hands down, the clear winner for what most everyone has conceded to be *last* millennium (the rounded-up 999 year period that ended on 12/31/99), but that it was a good idea for her to hit the campaign trails early in order to lock down the title of Feg of the Millennium for this *current* millennium (which will probably be celebrated at the very end of 12/31/2999 . . . but that'll be all right, because 1,000 years actually will have passed since the last millennial celebration). But Fegliness is truly a timeless quality, so my vote's in for Randi as All-Time Feg of Infinity (and beyond!) :-) - -----Michael "The Gentleman Fegger" K. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 26 Mar 2000 21:11:10 -0800 From: "chris@photogenica.net" Subject: Re: The Pondering Of Ed's Ass brian nupp wrote: > >Note to self: Find out what Mr. Tews public obsession with the > >backside is all about. I knew the song didn't have a chance in hell of winning, but I thought its performance was definitely the highlight of the telecast. Well, that and Salma Hayek's dress. I only saw Ian and the Blockheads a couple of times (1978 and 1998) but they were really entertaining and enjoyable. It was already known at the '98 gig that he was suffering from cancer, but he just made a joke of it and kept playing. Nice contrast between the funky Chas Jaenkel(?) music and the East End cheek of Ian Dury. Plus great playing from Norman Watt-Roy, Davey Payne etc. Too bad. - - Mike Godwin ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V9 #76 ******************************
