Kids, you just must see this. Now, since some people cannot follow proper ettiquette, you have to read this thing from the bottom up (What, does everybody use Microsoft Outlook or something?!?). Let me try to give you a touch of context. I'm on another mailing list (for shame!) for some highly technical folks that are friendly with one another. It's called the Geeklist and it's run at the Geekhouse where my former boss and a couple of my friends live (geekhouse.org). Sum Wu also owns indiepop.com and runs that little zine out of his bedroom. (Sum's bedroom is truly a sight to behold. I think he has fifteen Sun stations in there. It's a haven of blinkenlights.) Anyway, Caroline posted to the geeklist the other day that some fellow named Rocky was in Seattle and away from home and bored silly. Caroline said she was spending all of her time replying to his emails and was hoping other people could send him mail to keep him occupied so she could get her work done. She said "Be careful, though, he's a very weird guy." Well, this is one interchange. I have pared the names down to protect... something.
