Jewels was first performed in, i believe, may of '97. possibly at the house of blues show in chicago? did i miss something? when/where was it said that the film will not see the light of day? isn't this exactly what demme's company is supposed to be working on: placing it in various rep houses for a week, one city at a time? have they thrown in the towel?
