That wasn't really meant as a slam or an implication that Sexsmith ought to be doing such a thing. I just brought that up to bolster the contrast between his approach to pop/folk or whatever this damn music is called, and Luka Bloom's, which is generally speaking more adventurous and er, well, lively IMO. He did a cover of LL's "I Need Love" on an album called "The Acoustic Motorbike". Incidentally, a quick look at a Bloom website reveals that "The One" from the "Riverside" album was supposedly about Shane McGowan, just to tie in with other threads. I don't know much about Robyn's music 'cept for that song "do you know what it takes" but Siouxie and me are going to her concert next week cause your going to be there. Do you have a hot friend for Susy, so she'll stop liking you? She thinks your like Ducky from "Pretty in Pink" but I think your WAY cuter than that. Ducky was pretty cool, though. That's my favorite movie, 'cause I make my own dresses too. Okay so I'll see you at the concert and I hope you don't bring you're wife XOXOXO, Trish ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Jun 1998 12:18:52 -0400 (EDT) From: Aaron Mandel Subject: Re: Lobsterman? This is actually a spam from my 'ole Utah pal Butch. I mention him occasionally in my posts. Hell, he can't even spell Figaro! If you're gonna spam, do it right! :) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Jun 1998 09:42:58 -0700 From: Count Macula Subject: Re: Lobsterman? >favorite movie, 'cause I make my own dresses too. By the way, I apologize for this interruption of your email reading. I knew something was up when I got a message on my answering machine that was just Butch's loud annoying laughter. sorry again. - -jbj ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V7 #227 *******************************
