(the ones you like more than robyn.) i would just like to know who i'm dealing with. i like some critics, i hate others. i want to know if i should trust your opinion. and i think everyone else on this list would be interested to know what else you like. we know you like robyn. what's the other 29? =joel ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Feb 1998 02:28:38 EST From: KarmaFuzzz Subject: Re: Soy Bomb mystery solved? ...and i thought it was just some wanker telling everyone he was da bomb in Spanglish.......... ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Feb 1998 23:52:32 -0800 From: jeffery vaska Subject: Re: Neutral Black Milk Cat Saturday Hotel Terrence M Marks wrote: > > The Gerbils were the best out of that set, I think, because they > had the ebst singer. have we created a new expression? ebst...Ebst...the Ebst band i know of...hmmm? ;)...wink, wink...jv ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Feb 1998 01:46:27 -0600 From: "Maxey L. Mullins" Subject: sxsw this is a post concerning the upcoming RH show at the sxsw music festival in austin, Tx. robyn's playing at the state theater on march 19 at midnight. i'm sure all of you know this by now. but sxsw is a very complicated thing. the last time i went i spent $40 on a bracelet that was supposed to get me into any show for free. but i soon learned that it wasn't that easy. the whole thing was so packed that if you wanted to see some band that played at 11:00, you had to be there by 8 or 9 just to get in. after that the clubs would get too full and no one else would be admitted. so, this year i'm gonna be a little smarter. i'm not gonna buy a bracelet. it's not worth it unless you intend to go see a shitload of acts. the people at sxsw have informed me that tickets for the RH show will go on sale when the doors open that night, about thirty minutes before the first act goes on. as of now that first act begins at 9:00. so you can pay the cover charge at 8:30 and walk in and wait for RH. that's about the only way i know to do it. if you leave the club at all after you've entered, you're taking the risk of not being able to get back in. i've had some bad experiences with sxsw in the past and don't want that to happen to any of ya'll. you might even want to get there a little early, just to make sure. i'll probably be standing outside the clubs front doors from 7:00 on. i am taking no chances. if any one else is going, let me know. maybe we can meet face to face, have a beer together. in fact, i'll buy a round for all the fegs on this list that show up at the show. i sure as hell hope you all don't show up or i'll go broke before Robyn ever hits the stage. anyway, it would be cool to meet. we'll work out some sort of signal. we can all wear a pink carnation. (just kidding.) =joel ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V7 #75 ******************************
