ELEMENT, TRAINS, RESPECT, BEES maybe in the first tier. QUEEN ELVIS, EYE, MOONLIGHT, DECAY maybe in the second tier, etc. but, i think i've decided that MOSS ELIXIR is my favorite album of robyn's career. his voice, it seems to me, sounded better in 1996 than it ever had, and, than it has since (so far.) which makes me very excited for the release of the soundtrack. it's kind of a shame that he didn't release ELIXIR and LIQUOR as a double cd. i mean, if they're only going to ship 20,000 in the first place, then it's really only the hard-core fans that are buying his records. and i don't think any of us would have been deterred by a double cd. well, apart from eb. but he gets them all gratis anyways. It took a bit longer than anticipated, but everyone who requested that they be added to the tree (up to noon on 12/27) has been added to the structure. Find your name on the structure, and contact your branch to make arrangements to get a copy of the tape. Also branches may want to contact their leaves (the people they are making tapes for). The show will fit on a 60M dat, or 90 minute analog. The dat>dat, and minidisc structures are seperate from the analog structure, which includes those who volunteered to do dat>analog copies. I've had no sign ups for DAT>Minidisc. So if anyone wants to sign up for this, I can avoid one analog generation in the minidisc part of the tree. Here's an example of how the tree structure is set up-- Person 1 - ----person 2 ----person 3 ----person 4 - ----person 5 - ----person 6 Person 1 will be making tapes for person 2, 5, and 6. Person 2 will be making a tape for person 3 and 4. (If it isn't clear to anyone, or you can't figure out who your branch is, contact me, and I will clarify it for you.) Arrange a trade, or trade for blanks. If you are sending a blank, make sure you send your branch postage to cover the return of the blank. Also make sure you discuss the specifics of the trade - send tapes with cases or without, use noise reduction (usually not), etc. If you and your branch disagree on anything, please try to work it out. If you can't work it out, try to get on another branch. Or contact someone who is willing to make copies for people (see the list at the bottom of the tree structure). If all else fails, let me know. Thank you to everyone who offered to be a branch. Most people volunteered to make from 5-10 copies! Anyone who wants a copy of the show, but hasn't signed up yet, please check the bottom of the list for who to contact to get a copy. Onward to the tree structure! Then again, some artists may deny soundboard access because those tapes are more likely to be turned into bootlegs. (I think that some Robyn shows were taped from the soundboard. I thought that Stand Back Dennis was) Copyright laws are all vicious circles.
