I did watch, however, the cartoonists (or is "animators" the correct term?) interviewed on the Tonight Show discussing it. Funny guys. According to these two, other celebrity guest voices for the series have included Jay Leno, Robert Smith of the Cure (one of the creators is a "huge Cure fan"), and George Clooney, who supposedly did the voice of a "gay dog." That was hilarious. For those who didn't see it, some of the townspeople were upset that thay were doing a nativity scene in the elementary school's Christmas play. So they ended up removing any content from the play that might offend someone. The play turned out to be all the kids dressed in grey sacks and dancing like Mike Meyer's "Dieter" character from SNL, to Phillip Glass' score. It was great how they drew Glass looking real serious and angry. The record is stamped 1971 but I can't imagine Cale/Reed/Morrison collaborating on anything that late. Also the interview with Nico refers to the Exploding Plastic Inevitable being a year ago. Hence I agree with Mike Godwin that 1968 is a more likely recording date. For each song, I used the best recording I had (with the exception of Antwoman--I forgot that there was an FM recording of this from WXRT in Chicago--but the version I used is still alright). The tape closes with a version of Homer's "Superkeen" with Robyn and Tim singing the vocals and Robyn on harmonica, and then a version of "Adoration of The City" from the recent Jazz Cafe gig with Tim on harmonies and additional guitar, and Ntchuks Bongo on saxophone!
