Thanks for the Cambridge Report, if I extrapolate Robyns underwear rules = correctly, this puts bass players in the same category as British = Airways cabin crew - no underwear ! I messed up this summer and I failed to see any of Robyns appearances = in London, Isle of Wight or anywhere so I'm definitely going to Jazz = Cafe in November - and I might go and see Homer tonight at 'The Hope'- = Lope at the Hive. I'm not a true Deadhead or anything - I only ever saw them live twice - but I do enjoy much of their music. And they did play "Chinese Bones" so.... 'nuff said. At least you appreciate our man Robyn so I will respect your opinion even though I strongly disagree with your 'sick and wrong' assessment. Some people just don't get it. True. I can see the whole 'cult of...' thing, but as for the music I do not think I will even see the attraction. I makes no sense to my musical senses. Go figure. > At least you appreciate our man Robyn so I > will respect your opinion even though I strongly disagree with your 'sick and > wrong' assessment. Of course our man Robyn has some tunes such as "Wey wey hep uh hole," which approach some of thee same musical standards (or lack there of). So some things are not that far off. As for the "sick and wrong," my reaction to any dead tune, which I can hear a mile off (really), is a manic reaction to eliminate the source of the sound. This is not unlike a dogs reaction to one of those high-pitched whistle-things. Except with opposable thumbs, I have much more control over the situation, to some degree. It is just something that, in any of its guises, I could never listen to for any length of time. Ack. Just thinking of that clippety-cloppety brainfry beat makes me want to go put my head through a wall. ;) Eb PS The new Sundays album is damn nifty. ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V6 #10 ******************************
