I had lentils (my deep hatred for plants, which forces me to consume them rather than animals, brought me to that pass- also the fact that I can't cook much besides lentils :)). And didn't watch football, either, as I hate organized sports and furthermore do not have a TV :). But I do have a fantastic collection of stamps (to win friends and influence his uncle, of course) - including one that no one else seems to have, namely a picture of Graham dancing with some see-through things that appear to be crawling through the sea in the background. As no one ever lets Graham dance, I assume that it is probably a fake. I'll leave it to the more experienced collectors among us to decide. Once Graham begins to dance, it wakens unnamable Things from the depths of the abyss which lurk and watch by night until they get an opportunity suck the blood from some tasty morsel. I assume that's why no-one lets him dance. An alternative reading is that the see-through things are members of the Dance Police, recruited under the Criminal Justice Act to prevent unlicensed dancing. - Mike Godwin "Our law and order's never never never never never gonna break down, our law and order's never never never never never never gonna break down" ------------------------------ From: HAMISH_SIMPSON@HP-UnitedKingdom-om4.om.hp.com Date: Mon, 2 Dec 96 12:42:31 +0000 Subject: Discog help for Jay Item Subject: cc:Mail Text Jay, The BoB "Nigel" single was vinyl not flexi. As a branch, I spent the weekend dubbing for my leaves so I became quite familiar with the tape. Truly an amazing collection of great songs. Bayard, thanks so much!! A Euro feg mentioned the possibility of gathering a tape of "highlights" of the 1996 North American Tour. If this has not been organized, I would be happy to be in charge and construct such a tape. Perhaps the "highlights" could be suggested by the fegs who attended those shows that were taped. That might eliminate having one person select what he/she considers to be a "best" moment. Any takers? He had also cancelled in Providence the first time he cancelled here. So, I guess he had to pick one place to be mean to twice. Oh well. Who is going to the Providence show? Maybe we could all meet up, though I'm not from there so I don't really know where or anything. Actually, come to think of it, is anyone driving from Amherst/Northampton to Providence that day? Maybe I could get a ride instead of taking the bus. -Eugene ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tipper Gore said to Lou Reed, "Lou Reed, how can we communicate better with our children?"
