Of course the stupid record companies are onto me and now issue every single as a 2 CD set. This has to be the most selfish joke of all.. I'm not a huge fan of u2 anymore, but they probably have 2 albums worth of officially released "bonus tracks/CD singles". And as has been demonstrated in the past, oftentimes the most interesting stuff gets left off albums. Dear God was once a B-side. Oh, there's still hope for the rockin Devil's Radio... RH referred to JGB at some length in the 1988 Highgate Cemetery interview which I posted last month. He wasn't too keen on Crash, if I remember rightly. - Mike Godwin ------------------------------ From: LORDK@library.phila.gov Date: Wed, 4 Sep 1996 10:16:48 -0400 (EDT) CC: LORDK@library.phila.gov Subject: Whats going on Everyone has to listen to something, and frankly, I dont think Hitchcock can listen to enoughY 7 ------------------------------ From: LORDK@library.phila.gov Date: Wed, 4 Sep 1996 10:18:21 -0400 (EDT) CC: LORDK@library.phila.gov Subject: Apology for garbled post Sorry for last garbled post--for once it wasnt me--but my cheap gov computer K ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 4 Sep 1996 15:40:46 +0100 (BST) From: M R Godwin Subject: Re: Q Review, etc. On Thu, 29 Aug 1996, Long Duk Dong wrote: > At 23:06 29.08.96 EDT, Doc wrote: > > >-Sid Griffith > > Is this the country-rock historian Sid Griffith who was a member of the Long > Ryders and who wrote a biography of Gram Parsons? I saw him running through it solo in a Bristol club in 1987 and he was really having trouble hitting that high "Through with YOU yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah" - but by Glastonbury a week or so later, he seemed to have it up together. - Mike Godwin ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 4 Sep 1996 12:11:23 -0400 (EDT) From: Bayard Subject: attn.
