I need to replace this album on CD. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to hook up with me to help me get this accomplished? Living in rural Alaska, not much Robyn material is in circulation, so the surplus at used record shoppes and music stores people have been talking about doesn't apply to me. I would be grateful to any help that anyone could give me. Thanks in advance! "I wonder where we crossed..." Care to give us an updated number, whoever tracks such things (Woj, I assume). There seem to be about 15-20 regulars on the list, but there are certainly many many more passive listeners who seldom to never post. Lorrie and I have been on this list for about two months, and we already prefer Feg-Mail to regular mail, which usually consists of bills, credit card applications, and sometimes correspondence from family. Instead of coming home from work and asking if we got any mail, we now ask "How many Feg-Messages today?" A good day nets over 10. Weekends seem slow - is this because most Fegs receive their messages at work, or do some of you actually have a life? Grant & Lorrie Corvallis, Oregon PS: To those of you who have been able to see Robyn live every week in January: you should be gloating more than you are - we would be! ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 1 Feb 96 5:15:22 CST From: Truman Peyote Subject: net predictions AAAAAAAAAGH! So I have to get up early :) Well, Renee Lynnn, I'd really rather not share Robyn with you, even on a Wednesday night :). But I guess since he and I would be sharing a chateau together for all eternity I could allow you a few nights...... But I wouldn't LIKE it :) Susan ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 1 Feb 1996 06:18:24 -0500 (EST) From: Roseann Cappella Subject: Re: Mailing List Demographics I am one of those passive "listeners" who also enjoys coming home and reading all my feg-mail. I never say much because I know very little about Robyn other than what I've been learning here...I just love his music and being a musician I love to do his stuff. I like the postings that sometimes give out chord changes although I'm good a figuring out most of his stuff. My best friend "Songbird" turned me on to Robyn about 4 years ago. I think you can find out how many subscribers there are just by waiting to see one of those postings that start out with a bunch of names and addresses to everyone...is this correct? Yes, weekends are a drag! At least as far as postings are concerned. The past weekend there were none at all. O>K> girls--everyone can run away with robyn, my guess is, as Ive yet to her of a man who didnt enjoy a harem. This is my question--will you people be there -all-year, -every-year, or will you take vacations? And if youre ever off to fun in the sun, could I housesit? A french chataeu all to myself for a few weeks, I could deal with that. Kay the misenthropic Cap. If I could wear an I Often Dream Of Jennie costume, I might even join the harum. But warning, on a good day, Im very, very good: but on a bad day, I bite (or would Robyn like that?) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 1 Feb 1996 13:33:13 -0800 Subject: Re: WHFS appearance Dates needed From: Tom Clark "Rob Zarzecki " , "fegManiax" >>xx/xx/85 "Progressive cafe" Robyn and Bill Bruford improvise some off >the cuff >covers including Lamb Lies down on Broadway, Cat Food and >Indicipline. An "I Often Dream of Jeannie" costume? :) Kay, you have a one-track mind! Of course you could housesit if you want or perhaps I could just buy you your own chateau :)......the part about the harem, however, does NOT please me at all! Just because Mr. Charming and Dangerous would like one (I'm sure he would) doesn't mean I want to be in one, I'm way too selfish! Susan P.S. I bite when I'm in a GOOD mood. Can't say I've gotten any complaints :) P.P.S. Terry gets a special room all to himself to work out tabs and he can go fetch Robyn every time he hits a tricky bit. That is, if we're not busy making the sign of the double-finned dolphin........ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 1 Feb 1996 17:11:23 -0500 (EST) From: Terry Marks Subject: Re: Mailing List Demographics Well, the reason that I post more on weekdays is because school is a great time to sit down and think about what you've got to say about Robyn. Tabbing seems to be a weekday thing also, for no real reason. On weekends, I'm more likely to just sleep in than say anything here.
