No, wait -- wrong artiste. Actually, in my dream, I was helping come up with ideas for a children's show. We needed a starring animal, and eventually I came up with a squirrel. I even suggested a name for the show: "The Hole in the Wall." It's about a family of squirrels, I guess. However, before those ideas, someone else suggested the lead creature should be a shrimp or a mussel. Someone else balked, though, saying that would be too abstract. So what does it all mean? Even though I don't have a clear picture of the guy who suggested shrimp and mussels for the kids, I think I know who it was, don't you? Maybe he was in disguise. First, Robyn will be on the Acoustic Cafe show this week. It is a nationally syndicated 2 hour RADIO show. Here in the Detroit market, our station plays it Sunday mornings from 9-11am. Acoustic Cafe has an e-mail address at "acafe@ic.net". The host of AC is a man named Rob Reinhart. This performance and interview session was taped in April of this year when Robyn played two shows at the Ark in Ann Arbor. Deni Bonet accompanies him on the live in-studio performances. For those people that can't pick this show up (and it is a very good show), I'll post the song choices and interview highlights on Monday. -Steve P.S. AC is locally produced here in Ann Arbor and since our sleepy little town is such a small radio market to begin with, it gets a lot of local press in the news.
