Phweeen became You & Oblivion somewhere along the way - there's something to that effect in the archive somewhere. The spoken-word thing is still just a rumor-cum-speculation, I think. I hate to say it, but the title Red Lemon Days really appeals to me, ha ha (though I would never think to second guess The Man, of course!) About the painting, would it be obvious to say that it looks like a San Francisco scene? With all the brightness and water and what looks to be a long bridge in the background? I have always assumed that the club and/or promoter makes the 21+ decision. It is possible that in some states the venue can't serve alcohol unless it is a 21+ show. In any event, when I was 18 The Jam came to town to play a 21+ show and I asked Paul Weller at an in-store appearance why he was playing a 21+ show and didn't he agree it was unfair to people like me. His response was something like, "We didn't know, did we?" For what it's worth, Robyn's Chicago show is an all ages show (I think). We also told him that our other friends couldn't go to that particular concert because it, too, was 18+. He seemed really concerned, and said something about not really thinking about it before. The next time he came to Boston, he tried to play an all-ages venue but failed to sell enough tickets, so he was forced to book a 19+ club last-minute. The local entertainment freebie paper (_The Reader_) says that it's an all-ages show which starts at 7:30, although that could be for the opener. Tickets can be had via, but of course, ticket master. (I tried calling them a few days ago but got a busy signal, which is par for the course.) I saw Robyn and the Egyptians do an acoustic show at this very venue in June of '92. Many of the songs were from _Perspex Island_ though I recall a very rocking "Only the Stones Remain" and that it was the first time that I heard "Railway Shoes." The place has a very cabaret-like ambience; upscale with a lot of tables. No free-for-all standing room only area, which is the norm at some other Chicago venues. I can't see how it's going to be an all ages show since I recall that you could get drinks delivered to your table; even during the show itself. (I'd like to see Robyn go over the top and do a lounge act, complete with Bryan Ferry--or, better yet, Tom Jones--covers and female back- up singers. Not more than once though.) As far as I can tell, however, it's the only game in town where Robyn and Chicago are concerned, if only for the immediate future.
