Okay, this question stopped burning at me a while back, but I found the tape yesterday and I am curious again. About two years ago David Dye played Robyn & the Egyptians version of "A Day in the Life" (live, but that will be evident soon) on the APR show World Cafe. He proceeded to say that it was off a disc called "Live Death." The question is: What/Who/Where *is* "Live Death"??????? Bob -- <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<"Bite me! Inquireing minds _have_ to know. . . Good googla-moogla, Mike, you are in need of the discography, aren't you? You're missing _FEGMANIA!!!_ from 1985, which is where all of these songs are from. It was released in the U.S. on Slash/Warner Bros., which, I guess, makes it the first Robyn album on a major label, kinda. The reason that there are so many songs from this album on _Hen_ is that it was the album Robyn and the boys were touring with when _Hen_ was recorded. BTW, _FEGMANIA!!!_ is the first Egyptians record as well. I imagine we'll be seeing it in the U.S. again when the long-promised Robyn reissues hit the shelves. And where'd you think this list got its name from? Element of Light was its followup and IMHO it was a pretty weak followup indeed. Speaking of Fegmania I gave my vinyl copy away and taped it expecting to buy the CD which never came out. My tape wore out and I was stuck. Then a couple of weeks ago I found a great store nearby and they had a couple of copies of the vinyl so I bought it again. Is the USA release of Fegmania anywhere on the horizon? I would like to hear the differences... (I will add irrelevantly that Queen Elvis is also one of my favorites, as it was my introduction to Robyn Hitchcock back when I discovered MTV's 120 Minutes. I personally don't care too much for the solo acoustic material, "Invisible Hitchcock" and "Eye".) ANd I believe someone posted last week requesting such a beast. Also, I'm new to the list: is there an faq? A Robyn Web page? The only Robyn item I've come across on the net was an interview I found the The Well gopher (not counting some of the lyric sites). Anyhow, glad to be here and looking forward to getting a hold of the stuff I'm missing.
