Any ideas? IWDY is quite simple. It starts out with one measure of D, one of Dsus4, then D G C Cmaj7-D I wanna destroy you (twice) The verse structure is composed of measures of C, then G, then C, then G, then D. The first verse goes through this twice, but the others only once. The single notes over the chords (presumably Kimberley's part) are merely octaves of the root chord played in a quasi-funky fashion. The verse that starts "When I have destroyed you, I'll come picking at your bones" is, I believe, four straight measures of G and then D. I hope I'm right, and you understand my semi-lucid interpretation. I was actually kind of disappointed on Robyn's latest tour when, on the last show, Murray Attaway invited him up and closed with this song, and Robyn, if appearances are to be believed, was watching Murray's guitarist for the chords. A great song to look at for this, it seems to me, is "Raining Twilight Coast". He takes the basic chords differently every time he plays them, with flowing hammer-laden arpeggios built around the chord forms. Actually, now that I think about it, a friend and I had some dispute over whether it is finger picked or not. I think it is, but I always play it with a pick anyway because I like it angrier. I was invited once, and read this story to them. It went over like a hand grenade in a dinner Jello.
