FEGMANIAX Digest Volume 1, Issue 119 Today's topics: ------- ------ Kimberley, tour dates, not really Ho, Ho, Ho [] [] [][] [][] [] [][] [][] [] [] Date: Mon, 11 Oct 1993 14:18:45 -0400 (EDT) From: TCARLSTO@DREW.DREW.EDU Subject: Kimberley, Hey-- This group isn't dead, is it? I need it to survive! Anyway, so I heard a vicious rumor that Robyn was playing a solo show at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ sometime this month. Seemed entirely random to me--I checked with a friend at A&M and she seems perplexed--never heard a thing about it. And has anyone got any confirmation on this Soft Boys reunion? Better yet, does anyone have copies of any reunion shows that already took place? And just what has Kimberley been up to since Katrina and the Waves? Are they still together? There hasn't been a peep from them in the states in about seven years, and frankly, the two songs I heard from them (that "Walking on Sunshine" horror, and something else, the title of which was of sufficient insignificance as to have slipped my mind) were tripe of the highest order. Ever since I found out he was in that group (which I did by inadvertantly glancing at the disc's inside cover) I have had trouble reconciling the discrepancy in the two bands' sounds. Well, whatever.
