Wah? >> >> &ndy Holyer, School of Cognitive and |'Is it angst or too much lager?' &ndy, I hate to be Mr Wet Blanket, but here's my story: I had the same problem with my copy of Underwater Moonlight - on the last track (Song No. 4) the player would misbehave angrily and irregularly, and no amount of sweet-talk or threatening would make it behave. UM was the only CD that made it behave this way. Since the player was still under warranty I took it back, and the new one (now 6 mos old) behaves just fine. I'd suggest taking the CD back in your case, of course. Don't let this little set-back deter you. I just got Element of Light last week, and I'm doubleplus pleased. Mike. -- delong@virginia.edu. It won't even try to play tracks 12, 13 or 14 - it just makes a noise which sounds to me like a head running into an end-stop. Is this just me? or my CD player? I've never seen a CD do this before - and I've got some CDs which are much longer than this? Has anyone else seen this happen on EoL? Should I take it back? They usually replace it without any argument since they can send it back to the company.
