The crowd had probably never heard of him, since almost no one clapped when he came on, but they really warmed up to him by the end. He got almost as much applause as Robyn! He did the Cheers! theme, too... (But not Freebird...) Robyn's show was just wonderful. I met a few people and got talking to them. I told them about the net and all and they were really excited. So we may get a few new subscribers soon... Here's the setlist as I remember it: (Driving Aloud)(something...)(Chinese Bones)(The Yip Song)(Queen Elvis)(Arms Of Love)(Element Of Light)(Vegetationand Dimes)(Oceanside)(The Gates Of Wisdom)(Globe Of Frogs)(Clean Steve)(Only The Stones Remain)(The Moon Inside)(Cynthia Mask)(Listening To The Higsons)(Wafflehead)(The Wreck of the Arthur Lee)(Egyptian Cream)(Kung Fu Fighting) I taped it, too. It came out really well once I got the damn thing to work... My batteries died after Driving Aloud! So I had some AAAs but not any AAs... So I ripped the top off a Rolling Rock can and shoved it and the AAAs in the compartment and got it working! So I missed the second song (what was it? Railway Shoes?) and most of Chinese Bones. Also, the tape ran out at the end of Egyptian Cream so I missed Kung Fu Fighting... But it really sounds great (not the BEST but not bad at all) if anyone wants a copy... Or if anyone ELSE recorded the show! In all, well worth the drive from Worcester (about 2 hours...) and the $15 it cost to get in. One of the better shows I've attended... And you should have seen Andy's expression when Robyn started imitating David Crosby... .s. -- - lancer@wpi.wpi.edu - - Redundant in Nu-Wave Black - - Cockroaches determined to survive - - Microwave me - watch me come alive - From keb@u.washington.edu Fri May 21 18:41:52 1993 Received: from carson.u.washington.edu by wookumz.gnu.ai.mit.edu (5.65/4.0) with SMTP id ; Fri, 21 May 93 18:41:52 -0400 Received: by carson.u.washington.edu (5.65/UW-NDC Revision: 2.22 ) id AA26851; Fri, 21 May 93 15:41:50 -0700 Sender: keb@carson.u.washington.edu Date: Fri, 21 May 1993 15:40:44 -0700 (PDT) From: "K.
